Blue sharks are the most common type of shark seen on the shark cage trip, they are the most social sharks in our waters. We can get up to 10 at a time or more around the cage at times. You may also see Makos and Thresher Sharks. As the water gets warmer we do get the occasional Tiger and or Hammerhead that make a showing.
-
Great whites are a protected species so as a charter boat, we cannot legally pursue them. We travel about 25 miles offshore and the white sharks tend to stay closer to the shoreline where the seals congregate. As the Great White Shark population rises, we may encounter more each season.
